Musical Futures Styles is a resource that would normally be introduced to students after they have developed some initial skills - for example after using Everyone Can Play or Just Play resources.

Styles is a deep dive into understanding what it is to make music authentically. What makes the blues
blues-y or funk funky?

The resource includes whole class activities similar to Groove Your Classroom but add features like play alongs and additional specific elements relevant to a particular style or song - riff, scales, chords for each instrument.

The goal is an authentic performance of a song in a given style.
