Musical Futures International and Privacy

​It is Musical Futures International (Inc) policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you or which you may provide to us, in the circumstances set out below. Accordingly, we have developed this privacy policy in order for you to understand how we collect, use, communicate, disclose, safeguard and otherwise make use of your personally identifiable information (“Personal Data”).
 
We will only collect and use your Personal Data where:
–  we have lawful grounds to do so, including to comply with our legal obligations;
– we are performing a contract with you for our services; and
– we have legitimate interests in using your Personal Data and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests.
 
While Musical Futures International (Inc) is an Australian based, Australian registered incorporated body and, therefore not governed by European Union legislation, however  we do operate internationally and therefore have chosen to manage the personal data that we collect  so that it aligns to the EU General Data Protection Regulation ((EU) 2016/679) also commonly known as the GDPR provided there is no conflict with Australian law. In all matters concerning Musical Futures International Australian law specifically the Australian Privacy Act (1998) and Privacy Amendment (Notifiable Data Breaches) Act (2018) has precedence over that of other jurisdictions.
 
Musical Futures International (Inc), is therefore the “data controller” as referred to EU General Data Protection Regulation ((EU) 2016/679).

This Website and our services are aimed at adults either working or studying in their capacity as music education professionals.  We do not knowingly collect any Personal Data relating to children aged under 18 years old.
