Musical Futures International launched in Europe in early 2019

With the growth of global networks of international schools and a worldwide drive towards creativity, critical thinking and innovation in education comes an increased demand for building greater understanding of and access to Musical Futures pedagogies. Since then we have completed open workshops in Germany, Ireland, Switzerland and Italy.

In-house workshops and consultancy

We model Musical Futures with your students and work with Academic and Instrumental staff in a variety of areas including:
​
  • Setting up your space​
  • Equipment and forward planning
  • Curriculum and assessment
  • Building an ethos of performing
  • Transition and building relationships between primary and secondary school
  • Working with school leadership to grow the music department
  • Defining a vision, ethos and approach that is right for your department
  • Building a presence for the department/engaging parents​
  • Using MF to increase take up at GCSE/IB/extra curricular music
  • ​Work with teachers and students towards a performance (arts week or similar)​ ​

We also offer a range of activities for students.
