Zombie by the Irish band The Cranberries dates back to the mid 1990s. It was a worldwide hit.


It is a great example of the alternative (alt) rock style and is of course about the conflict that was taking place in Ireland at that time, the time known as The Troubles.


The basic chords are Em, C, G and D (the D chord includes a number of variations including D6/D11. The arrangement in heavily guitar based.


Play Now resources are designed to bridge the gap between Musical Futures play alongs (and other multi media supported resources) and independent aurally led student learning.
